Última actualización: 2026-10-27
This Privacy Policy explains how Anime Star Eyes at animeselfie.com ("we", "us", the "Service") handles personal data. We are responsible for the processing described here. For privacy questions or requests, email contact@animeselfie.com.
1. Data we collect
- Account data — email address, name, password (stored only as a secure hash) or the basic profile from a sign-in provider such as Google, and your language preference.
- Photos and results — the selfies you upload, the anime photos created from them, the style you chose and the status of each request.
- Billing records — orders, subscription status and periods, amounts, currency, payment status, invoice references and your credit history. Card and bank details are entered on our payment providers' pages; we never receive or store full card numbers.
- Support — messages and attachments you send through Support Tickets or email.
- Technical data — IP address, browser and device information, sign-in sessions, and server logs used for security and troubleshooting.
- Usage data — if analytics is enabled, pages visited and general device information. See Section 7.

We do not sell your personal data, we do not use your photos for advertising, and we do not use your photos to train our own AI models.
3. How your photos are processed
When you upload a selfie, it is stored privately and checked by SeeAPI's content moderation service, which reads it through a link that expires after 10 minutes. If the check does not pass, the photo is deleted; if it passes, it stays private to your account. When you create a photo, the selfie is sent to YIR, which routes it to the underlying image model provider (currently Google) to generate the result. The result is checked by SeeAPI before it is delivered to your account.
We process your photo only to create the image you request. We do not create face templates or use your photo to identify you. Automated safety checks can make mistakes and do not verify anyone's age, identity or consent.
These providers process images under their own terms and privacy policies, may keep data for limited periods for abuse monitoring, and may be located outside your country.
4. Who we share data with
We share the data needed to run the Service with the following providers. A provider is used only when the relevant feature is available or you choose it; its own privacy terms also apply:
- Cloudflare — hosting, database and private image storage (R2);
- SeeAPI — content safety checks on uploads and results;
- YIR and its image model provider — image generation;
- Stripe — subscription and credit pack payments and invoices;
- Waffo Pancake and Dodo Payments — alternative credit pack payment options where offered; they may act as merchant of record and process your billing data as independent controllers;
- Resend — transactional email;
- Google — sign-in with Google, if you choose it, and analytics, if enabled;
- professional advisers, and authorities where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
If our business is reorganized or sold, personal data may transfer to the successor under this Policy.
5. International transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries, where privacy laws can differ from those where you live. Applicable transfer requirements and the provider's contractual safeguards govern those transfers. You can contact us for information about the providers involved in your request and their published transfer arrangements.
6. Retention
- Uploads and results are kept while needed to provide your photo history. You can delete finished photos in My photos or ask us to remove them. Deletion removes the photo from your history and requests removal of its stored image; an unshared source selfie is also removed. Limited task metadata may remain for accounting, safety and troubleshooting.
- Account and support data is retained while your account is active or a request remains unresolved. After a verified account deletion request, we delete or de-identify data no longer needed, except for records required by law or to resolve disputes, prevent abuse or establish legal claims.
- Billing and tax records are retained for the periods required by applicable accounting, tax and payment laws. We determine the period from the record type and the legal obligations that apply to the transaction.
- Security and diagnostic logs are retained for the period needed to investigate incidents and protect the Service, taking account of the purpose, sensitivity, provider settings and applicable obligations. A relevant record may be retained longer for an unresolved incident or legal requirement.
Deleting our copy does not automatically delete copies held independently by a provider. Provider retention rules and legal obligations may differ. Contact us if you need help with a deletion request involving a provider.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your language (PARAGLIDE_LOCALE) and record a referral source where present (utm_source). Your theme choice is stored in your browser's local storage. Analytics, advertising and third-party chat tools are not currently enabled. If non-essential tracking is introduced, we will update our notices and obtain consent where required before activating it. See our Cookie Policy for browser controls.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents may request to know and delete their data; we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
To exercise these rights, email contact@animeselfie.com or use Support Tickets. We may need to confirm your identity using information proportionate to your request, and we will respond within the time required by law. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. We do not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
9. Children
The Service is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and photos of children are not allowed. If you believe a child's data has been provided to us, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls that limit each photo to its owner's account, encrypted storage of provider credentials, and regular reviews of our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy. The current version and its date are shown on this page, and we will notify you of material changes by email or in the Service.
